The Veterinary Council of India will conduct AIPVT 2019 to provide admission to students in the courses B. V. Sc. & A.H course under 15% All India Quota seats. Admission to these courses now depends on NEET Score, as in 2017 AIPVT exam was replaced by the NEET.

To allocate 434 seats (15% AIQ and 85% state quota seats in the veterinary colleges of participating states) to the prominent and recognized Veterinary Colleges (except Jammu and Kashmir), the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) will use the merit list of NEET UG 2019.

Eligibility Criteria

Those who are interested to apply for the AIPVT 2019 Admission, they must fulfill following eligibility criteria-

Nationality:

Firstly, applying candidates must be the citizen of India. Students from the Jammu and Kashmir State are only eligible to apply for the 85% state quota seats. Students who are not domiciled from Jammu and Kashmir, they are eligible to apply for 15% All India Quota seats. Moreover they have to submit Affidavit at the time admission in the Veterinary colleges.

Education Qualification:

Individuals must have qualifies 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English subjects or equivalent to intermediate science examination of an Indian University or Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 47.5% total marks.

Age Limit

Applicants must be within the upper age limit of 25 years to apply for AIPVT 2019. Moreover, there will relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit for the reserved category students.

After the declaration of the NEET Exam merit list candidates who will qualify the exam will be able to fill AIPVT Application Form. Individuals can fill the AIPVT Application Form in 4 steps as described below:-

Step 1: Registration

• The very first step includes logging to the official website of the Organisation that is aipvt.vci.nic.in
• Look in the “News/Events” section present on the home page, hit on the appropriate link regarding the AIPVT Notification 2019.
• After reading the AIPVT 2019 Notification, revisit the earlier web page and search for the suitable link for registration.
• Now you are required to hit on “New User” tab.
• Enter your valid email id and password to register yourself for AIPVT 2019 Admission Process.
• In this stage, a registration number will be generated, keep it safe for future use.

Step 2: Filling of Form

• Using the above generated registration number, individuals can login to fill the application form.
• Start filling your AIPVT Application Form, by providing the personal, qualification, communication etc. details

Step 3: Documents Uploading

• Candidates are required to upload the following scanned documents –
  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Thumb impression

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee

AIPVT 2019 Exam Pattern

Type of Questions: The AIPVT 2019t question paper will consist of total 180 multiple choices based and re-assertion type quesions.

Subjects Included: Physics (45), Chemistry (45), Biology (90)

Answer Strategy: Out of the four options, candidates have to choose the correct one

Language to be used: The Question Paper will be both in English and Hindi.

Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be allotted for every correct answer.

Negative Marking: 1 mark will be subtracted for every wrong answer.

Time Duration: The total time duration of the AIPVT 2019 will be of 3 hours.
