Osmania University Admission Process
- Admission in BA/B.Sc/BBA/BCA programmes is based on merit depending upon marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- For admission to B.Com. (Hons.), Osmania University conducts the Common Entrance Test.
- For Bachelor of Law (LL.B.), the admission is granted on the basis of merit in TS LAWCET.
- The admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is granted on the basis of TS EdCET.
- Osmania University also conducts a common entrance test (OUCET) for admission to Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences (B.L.I.Sc.).
- The admission to B.H.M.C.T. is granted on the basis of merit in Entrance followed by Aptitude Test conducted by the Osmania University.
- Bachelor of Education (B.P.Ed.) Admission is granted on the basis of TS-PECET.

Osmania University Application Fees:
Candidates can purchase Prospectus-cum-Application from the Sales Counter, PGRRCDE, OU by paying a Demand Draft for Rs.300/- in favour of Director, Prof. G Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education, Osmania University.
The participants can also obtained the Prospectus-cum-Application form by post, by sending a demand Draft of Rs. 350/- along with self addressed envelope to the Director.
The amount of Osmania University application will be submitted via Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Dean of the concerned faculty, OU payable at Hyderabad

The exam pattern of different entrance exam for various courses are different as given below.
TS EAMCET – B.Tech, B.E., and B.Pharma Admission
- Mode of examination: Online (Computer based test)
- Sections: 3 (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry)
- Type of questions: Objective type multiple choice questions
- Number of questions: 160
- Section wise questions: Mathematics – 80, Physics – 40, and Chemistry – 40.
- Language of questions: English and Telugu, or English and Urdu languages.
- Marking Scheme: Each question will carry 1 mark.
TS LAWCET – LLB
- Mode of examination: Online (Computer based test)
- Sections: 4 (General Knowledge, Mental Ability, Legal Aptitude, and Current Affairs)
- Type of questions: Objective type multiple choice questions
- Number of questions: 120
- Section wise questions: General Knowledge and Mental Ability – 30, Current Affairs – 30, and Aptitude for the study of law – 60.

TS ICET – MBA/ PGDM
