UPSC Central Police Forces Exam Pattern:
Candidates are required to go though the details about UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant Examination scheme as follows:
- There are two papers for the written exam.
- Paper I will be of General Ability & General Intelligence
- All the questions in paper I will be objective type.
- There will be to total 125 Questions in Paper I which are to be completed in the duration of 2 Hours
- Whereas General Ability & General Intelligence paper will carry 250 Marks total.
- Paper II will be of General Studies, Essay & Comprehension
- All the questions in paper II will be subjective in nature.
- The question of General Studies, Essay & Comprehension will carry total 200 Marks.
- Total duration for Paper II will be provided 3 Hours.

Candidates who will successfully qualified the exam written examination will become eligible for Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.

Interview/Personality Test:
- Candidates, who are declared qualified in the Medical Standards Tests, will be called for Interview/Personality Test to be conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
- The Interview/Personality Test will carry 150 Marks.
- Aspirants, who are short-listed for Interview/Personality Test, will be issued a Detailed Application Form (DAF) in which selected candidates require to mention their preference of Forces.
