WBJEE Exam Pattern:

| Category III (one or more answers correct, full marks – 2) number of questions | 10 | 5 | 5 |
| Total number of questions | 75 | 40 | 40 |
| Maximum marks | 100 | 50 | 50 |
Scoring methodology / Marking scheme
As can be seen, there are three types or categories of questions. In each category, the marking scheme is different.
- Category I – Negative marking -1/4
- Category II – Negative marking -1/4
- Category III – No negative marking
- For partially correct response, marks awarded will be = 2 x (no. of correct options marked / total no. of correct options)
