AILET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission at NLU Delhi through AILET must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

AILET 2022 Exam Pattern

The latest AILET Exam Pattern is discussed as follows:

  • Time Duration: The examination will be of 90 minutes.
  • Total marks: The maximum marks will be 150.
  • Questions Type: Multiple-choice questions.
  • No. of Questions: Total 150 questions for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) exam and for the LL.M. course, there will be 100 MCQ questions and 1 essay type question on the law.
  • Marking scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer.
  • Negative marking: There is no negative marking.

AILET 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus for AILET Entrance Exam is totally based on the previous studies classes. Candidates applying for the LL.M. course have to study Contracts Law, Criminal Law, Law of Torts, Constitutional Law, and Legal Theory.

For B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), questions will be asked from sections like English, General Knowledge (Current Affairs, General Science, History, Geography, Economics, and Civics), Legal Aptitude Reasoning, and Marks Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability).

AILET Admit Card

AILET Admit Card will be issued via online mode by the university at the official site. You can download the hall ticket from 16th June 2022 onwards by using your login credentials. Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to sit in the exam hall so, must keep your admit card on exam day.

AILET Results

After successful completion of the entrance exam, the Entrance Exam Results will be released in the 4th week of July 2022 for BA. LL.B. and in the 3rd week of July 2022 for LL.M. & Ph.D courses. Admission to candidates will be provided on the basis of the score obtained in the Entrance Exam.

AILET Counselling

National Law University will conduct counselling. AILET Counselling procedure will be started after the declaration of results from the 1st week of August 2022. In counseling, seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of scores and choices filled by them.
