APPSC Group 2 Selection Scheme:

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission group 2 Exam Conducts in Two Stages:

• Written Examination (Objective Type) (Degree Standard)
• Interview/Document Verification

Written Examination:

Written examination of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission’s (APPSC) Group 2 comprised of Paper I, II & III and the examination would be in Objective type. Each Paper carries 150 marks, time duration is 2: 30 hours.

• Paper I: General Studies,
• Paper II: Social and Cultural History of Andhra Pradesh & General overview of the Indian Constitution
• Paper III: Planning in India and Indian Economy.

Interview/Document Verification:

Contenders who qualify the Written Examination (qualifying marks for selection is OCs 40%, BCs 35%, SCs, STs & PHs 30%) will be eligible for interview/verification. Selected candidates will be allotted according to merit list and given service according to their Zonal preference. Candidates have to bring Original documents and well as photo copy of each for verification as and when required and called for.
