CMAT 2023 Notification
The Application Process for CMAT Exam is carried out online via the official portal – cmat.nta.nic.in. CMAT Application Form will be available from the 1st week of November 2022. You need to submit your application through the proper channel before the deadline otherwise it will be rejected.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria
- Only an Indian citizen can apply for CMAT Exam.
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university.
- Final year students i.e. the appearing candidates whose results are also eligible to apply.
CMAT 2023 Notification

CMAT 2023 Application Form
The CMAT Application Form 2023 will be available online at the official portal. CMAT Registration process will be active from the 1st week of November 2022. To appear for the exam, aspirants are required to register and submit their application form successfully before the closing of the application process.
How to Fill the CMAT Application Form 2023?
Step 1: Visit the official website – cmat.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, select and hit the appropriate link to apply online for CMAT-2023.
Step 3: If you are a New User then hit on “New User” link. Already registered candidates can directly log in to their account by entering their Application ID and DOB.
Step 4: Fill in your personal and academic details in CMAT 2023 Application Form.
Step 5: Upload your scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
Step 6: Pay the application fee by using online payment.
Step 7: Check the form at once and press on “Submit” button.
CMAT 2023 Application Fee:
Payment of the CMAT Application Fee can be done online through a Credit card / Debit card or Net Banking. The Application Fee for CMAT is tabulated below:

Online Payment process: Applicants can select online payment mode and then do the payment using Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking. Once your payment is successfully done, you will receive a confirmation E-mail and SMS. Once you have received the successful payment confirmation, applicants can proceed with the remaining part of registration procedure.
Cash Payment In SBI Bank: Contenders can select Cash Payment option to pay by CASH at any of the designated SBI bank branch. Once you select this option and proceed, you will see a CHALLAN on your screen with your details already filled in it. You need to take 3 PRINT OUTS of this CHALLAN, fill in the details wherever required in all the copies, and walk in to your nearest SBI bank branch with CASH on the next day of generation of Challan.
CMAT 2023 Exam Pattern
Exam Mode: The exam is a Computer Based Exam.
No. of Question: There will be total 100 questions asked, 25 questions from each section
Type of Question: The question paper comprises objective type questions.
Marking Scheme: Four marks will be provided for each correct answer (+4 marks)
Negative marking: There will be deduction of mark and -1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.
Duration: The exam duration will be three hours (180 minutes).

CMAT Exam Syllabus
Language Comprehension:
It covers comprehensive English test which includes the test of grammar, tenses, vocabulary, jumbled paragraphs and reading comprehension. Key topics from which you may expect questions are – usage of Articles, Non-finites, dangling modifiers, Nouns, Pronouns (Especially relative Pronouns), adjectives, adverbs, prepositions –regular and followed, verbs, Syntax, Subject-verb Agreement, Simple, continuous, Perfect tenses and Conditional-unreal past.

Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation:
While topics like table and pie chart in data interpretation section will require basic calculation skills, the topics from which most of the questions appear in quant are arithmetic (ratios, mixtures, work, averages, profit & loss, basic statistics etc), number properties, probability and counting principles with one or two odd questions in geometry and derivatives (i.e. maxima –minima).

Logical Reasoning:
The section is a mix of the topics from arrangements like linear, seating, sequencing & arranging with conditions to coding. The other questions are based on statement-conclusion, logical puzzle, numerical puzzle, Venn diagram, true/false statements, visual reasoning. The basic preparatory tip for LR is to attempt as many practice exercises as possible. They can be solved with basic human logical instinct.
General Awareness:
Current GK- based on current reading of newspapers and periodicals; Business & Economics GK -for example changes in Fiscal and monetary policy, CRR, Repo Rate, Devaluation and up valuation of Rupee. Please remember current GK-whether Business, national and international has an on-going preparation method and thorough reading of the newspaper only can keep you updated.

CMAT 2023 Admit Card
- Applicants have to download their Admit Card from the official website from the due date onwards.
- Applicants need to login with their registered E-mail id and password as recorded at the time of registration for CMAT 2023 to download the CMAT Hall Ticket.
- In their own interest, candidates should take at least 2 prints of the CMAT Admit Card.
- CMAT 2023 is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in the last week of January 2023.
CMAT 2023 Results
- The CMAT Result will be provided to candidates in the second week of February 2023.
- Applicants can check the CMAT Score Card via online mode through the website.
- The CMAT Score Card will be valid for admission to Academic Year 2023-2024.
- Students are advised to take printout of the CMAT Result and keep it safe till the admission process gets finished.
How CMAT Percentile is calculated?
A simple formula is used to determine the percentile of a candidate.
Formula: Percentile P = ( (N- your rank)/ N) x 100
(Where P stands for percentile and N is total number of candidates appeared for exam)

CMAT Counselling 2023
After the declaration of CMAT Merit List, the board will commence CMAT 2023 Counselling. With the help of score card, candidates can appear in the counselling organized by various institutions and universities. Candidates have to bring the necessarily documents and fees at the time of counselling. Seats will be allotted to the students on the basis of CMAT scores, filled choices & availability of seats.
