IGNOU B.Ed Eligibility 2020:
A) Ensure IGNOU B.Ed Admission Eligibility norms as prescribed here.
i)Applicant with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Commerce/ Humanity are eligible. OR
ii)You must possess B.E. or B.Tech degree & scored minimum of 55% marks with specialization in Science and Mathematics as per IGNOU B.Ed Eligibility OR
iii) Aspirants with a degree equivalent to i) and ii) are also eligible for Indira Gandhi National Open University B.Ed Admission.
B) Those willing to enroll for ODL (open and distance learning) courses need to fulfill listed criteria as per IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam Notification.
i) Candidates applying for IGNOU B.Ed. Admission should be a trained teacher which means he/ she must have completed the NCTE recognized face-to-face teacher education program.
ii) You should be an in-service teacher in elementary education.
Note Concerning IGNOU B.Ed Eligibility:
- SC/ ST/ OBC-NC/ PWD category aspirants will get relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks.
- The Kashmiri Migrants and war widow are also eligible for reservation as per the University Rules.
- Those having master’s degree without a first degree may not apply as per IGNOU B.Ed Admission Notification.

IGNOU B.Ed Fees:
Applicants are required to pay Rs. 1050 as registration fee. Make payment of fee through Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “IGNOU”, payable at the city where the Regional Centre is situated.
IGNOU B.Ed Exam Pattern 2020:
The paper of IGNOU B.Ed. Admission Exam is divided into two major parts- Part A and Part B.
- All the questions will be of objective type
- The medium of the paper will be English and Hindi.
- There will be 100 questions in both parts combined.
- Total marks for entrance test is 100.
- 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- There may be negative marking for wrong answers.
- Time duration of paper is of 2 hours.
