Karnataka Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have passed the matriculation or higher secondary or any higher examination from a recognized University/Board are eligible to apply for Karnataka Post Matric Scholarship.
• Students pursuing correspondence courses are also eligible.
• Those who received coaching in any of the pre-examination training Centres with financial assistance from the Government will not be eligible.
• Candidates of the same parents/guardian are also eligible.
• Students whose parents’/guardians’ income does not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh per annum will be offered the Karnataka Scholarship.
• Employed students on leave who are not paid for the entire duration of a full-time course are also eligible for ST Post Matric Scholarship Karnataka 2022.
• Candidates who attained qualifications such as all recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary courses in recognized institutions are eligible to apply.

• A total package amounting to Rs.19, 500/- will be offered to each student per year which comprises the following as stated below:

• For honorarium to Principal, Experts, and other incidental charges: Rs. 8, 000/- to be paid per year to every student
• Additional grants shall be provided to students with disabilities as per the Karnataka government norms.
