Kerala Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria 2019:
For admission of students in the Kerala state for diploma polytechnic programmes, applicants must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
- Must possess a valid Indian citizenship
- A valid domicile of Kerala state or their parents should be a permanent staff under state/central/quasi government/public sector of Kerala state.
- Only those contestants will be eligible for both i.e. commercial practice/management courses and Engineering/technology, who have passed SSLC examination along with Maths or Science.
- Students should qualify the qualifying examination in the subjects like Mathematics, Science and English.

Important Point to be considered concerning Eligibility:
- For CBSE/ICSE board applicants, marks secured in science will be considered for calculating grade in place of physics & chemistry.
- Those who have applied or given the improvement exam cannot apply.
Application Fee:
Amount of Rs. 150 must be paid while submission of Kerala Polytechnic Online Application Form. For scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, it will be Rs. 75/-.

Admission Procedure:
Interested candidates who want to pursue their qualification in polytechnic diplomas must be looking for admission process before applying. So here we are discussing about it as selection of applicants will be on the grading marks obtained in SSLC/THSLC or equivalent Examination. Students who have passed qualifying examination under the old scheme (prior to Grading System), marks are to be converted to 9 point absolute grade.

Kerala Polytechnic Exam Pattern 2019:

- The Kerala Polytechnic admission Exam includes two papers One for Physics and Chemistry together and other for Mathematics.

- Each examination paper will have 120 questions.

- For each correct answer, four marks will be awarded.

- for each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted from their total score.

- If a student doesn’t choose any response for a question asked zero marks.

- The exam will be organized in pen and paper based mode.

How to submit Kerala Polytechnic Admission 2019-20 Form?
