NCERT syllabus to be Reduced by 15%- Latest Update!!! As per the latest reports, Union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar announced there will be around 10 to 15% cut off in the syllabus 2019-20. This step was taken to relieve students from the curriculum overload. In a meeting of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) general council chaired by Union HRD minister told that there aim is to remove duplicate and redundant portion from syllabus without effecting the actual learning process. Also, to ensure adequate supply of NCERT Textbook, NCERT textbooks published would go up from 6 crore last year to 8 crore this year. |
Procedure To Download NCERT 2019 Syllabus:
Aspirants can download the updated syllabus by following below guidelines-
- Candidates are required to open official website of National Council of Educational Research and Training that is www.ncert.nic.in.
- After that, hit either एन. सी. ई. आर. टी वेबसाइट (हिन्दी में) क्लिक करें or NCERT Website (English Version) Click Here . link
- Now, go through “Links” section and hit the link of “Syllabus of Classes I-XII”.
- A new page will open on your screen with Syllabus.
- Select “Press Here for download of Syllabus at Elementary Level / Syllabus at Secondary and Higher Secondary Level” link.
- After hitting the said link, Exam Syllabus will appear on your screen.
- At last, download the Subject-Wise Syllabus and get print out of it.

In last meeting, the Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakashalso spoken about poor quality of teachers that it was obstructing the growth of students. On the other hand, he said that the basic duty of teachers is to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of students and mentor them accordingly.
