NDA Salary 2024
NDA Stipend:
The monthly stipend of an NDA cadet is fixed at Rs 56,100 /- (Starting pay in Level 10). Gentlemen Cadets are entitled for stipend of Rs. 21,000/- p.m. during training period at Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officers Training Academy (OTA). After the successful completion of NDA Training, salary of NDA cadets in the Pay matrix of the officer commissioned will be fixed in the first Cell of Level 10. It must be noted that the NDA training period is not treated as commissioned service and arrears on account of admissible allowances (as applicable) are paid to the cadets for the training period.

NDA Salary Structure (Flying Officers):
Qualification Pay And Grant:
Officers possessing prescribed Qualification receive lump sum Qualification Grant of Rs. 6,000/-, 9,000/-, 15,000/- or 20,000/- as their qualification. The Army Aviators (Pilots) serving in Army Aviation Corps receives pay as per qualification.

NDA Salary – Perks & Allowances
Compensatory Field Area Allowance
Compensatory Field Area Allowance is given on the basis of rank and area of posting. Those aspirants who are posted at highly active Field Area Allowance, they receive Rs. 6,780/- to Rs.8, 400/- p.m., Compensatory Field Area Allowance is given Rs. 4,200– 5,200/-p.m. , Compensatory Modified Field Area Allowance: Rs. 1,600/ – 2,000/- p.m. Those who are at High Altitude they receive uncongenial climate allowance. Candidates who are placed at High Altitude category I (9000 feet to 15000 feet and uncongenial Areas below 9000 feet) they receive Rs. 1,060– 11,200 p.m.
Uniform allowance
Candidates are given uniform allowances in which Initial Outfit allowance is given Rs. 14,000/- and Renewal outfit allowance is received Rs. 3,000/- once in every three years.

Transport Allowance
Candidates who are not benefited with the facility of Government accommodation they receive transportation allowance for distance within 1 Km from the duty place or campus housing and that are Rs. 7200+DA p.m. in ‘A-1’ and ‘A’ class cities and Rs. 3600+DA thereon per month at other places.
Beside this Compensatory (City) and Dearness Allowances are same as that of Civilian Gazetted Officers and a kit maintenance allowances is given Rs. 400/- p.m.
Allowance for Army Aviators (Pilots)
Candidates who are selected for the Army Aviation Corps they receive flying allowance, and below are the following flying allowance of Army Aviators (Pilots)
- Brigadier & above – Rs. 10,500/-
- Major to Colonel – Rs. 14,000/-
- Captain – Rs.11,000/-
- Lieutenant – Rs. 9,000/-
Children Education Allowance: Rs. 2250/- per month per child for two eldest surviving only. CEA is admissible from Nursery to 12th Class
Hostel Subsidy: Rs. 6,750/- per month per child for two eldest surviving only. CEA is admissible from Nursery to 12th Class.

Insurance
Candidates who are selected for training are required to pay Rs. 4250/ for one time premium and Army Group Insurance fund provide insurance of Rs.8 Lacs.
Premium of Rs. 770/- per relegated term that is additional will be paid immediately, in case of relegation
When Gentlemen Cadets are moved for further training at IMA, the insurance fund provides insurance of Rs. 40 Lacs without any payment from them.
Retirement Benefits:
Aspirants will be rewarded with the Pension, gratuity and casualty in according to the rules in force by them time to time.
Leave:
Leave will be admissible in accordance with the rules in force from time to time.
