OJEE Counselling

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) has conducted the OJEE 2018 on 13th May 2018. Now the board is going to start the OJEE Counselling procedure for candidates willing to admission in B.Tech into the participating institutes.

To appear in OJEE Counseling, candidate must be a JEE Main qualified. In case of candidate is not a JEE Main qualified then he/she have to appear in a special entrance examination conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board.

Registration for OJEE Counselling 2018!!!

Candidates who are eligible can register themselves for the OJEE Counselling 2018 from the second week of June 2018. After getting registered candidates need to visit the nearest nodal centers to get their documents verified.

Seat allotment done on the basis of Merit List and candidate’s preference will be temporary in nature. Final decision regarding allocation of seats will be taken by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board in Second Week of July 2018.

OJEE 2018 Counselling commences from 3rd week of June 2018. After accessible of merit list, selected students may attend counselling session. This year, counselling will be conducted through online mode.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students must have qualified marks in Odisha Joint Entrance Exam in order to attend counseling process for taking admission in various engineering, management and medical programs.

Counseling Fee Details:

  • Students are required to pay fee of Rs. 450 (approx.) for attending counselling session.
  • Those applying for admission under JEE Main/ AIPMT/ CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GATE/ GPAT have to pay Rs. 950/- (approx.) as a counseling fee.

Mode of Payment:

Make payment of fee through demand draft drawn in favour of “OJEE 2018” from any nationalized bank, payable at Bhubaneshwar.

Reservation of Seats Categories Wise:

Scheduled Caste 8%
Scheduled Tribe 12%
Green Card 5%
Physically Challenged 3% in each category
Ex-Servicemen 3%
Oriya(Odia) belonging to outlying Oriya(Odia) speaking tracts (OL) 3%
Women 30% in each category except ‘OL’ and
Tuition Fee Waiver Upto 5% (Supernumerary) ( Except OL)

Odisha JEE Counselling Procedure 2018:

Online Registration:

  • Visit official portal of organization i.e. www.odishajee.com
  • Read entire Counselling Notice, after that, you may enter details such as JEE Main Roll No, Registration No, Date of Birth and the 16 digit barcode as listed in your Rank Card.

Fee Payment:

 Students have to deposit Rs. 450/- (non-refundable) registration fee through online portal. After login to account and using ‘Fee Payment’ interface, you may make payment.

Online Choice Filling:

After paying fee Students can go for choice filling. Students may choose their course online and fill all required details. Students may submit choice filling details within time.

Reporting at Nodal Centre:

Subsequent to online choice filling stage, you need to report at nodal centre. It is mandatory to report at respective Nodal Centre for verification of documents & final choice locking.  Access print out of final seat choice for further need

Provisional Seat Allotment:

Seats will be provisionally allotted to Students based on rank as well as choice locking opted by them.

Withdrawal Process:

Students can withdraw by filling up a withdrawal form at the nodal centre where he/she had verified his/her documents. Students will be refunded 25000/- (Admission fee) in the account registered at nodal centre.

Final Allotment:

Final Allotment process will take place after provisional seat allotment and withdrawal process. By visiting official portal, you may download Final Allotment Letter.

Reporting at the Final Allotted Institute:

This is the last stage of counselling session. Students are required to report at allotted institute within three working days from publication of final allotment list.

Documents Required during OJEE Counselling 2018:

  • JEE Main 2018 Result
  • Online registration slip of OJEE 2018 counselling
  • Payment Slip
  • 10th standard certificate or any other document showing the candidate’s date of birth
  • 10+2th standard mark sheet and pass certificate
  • Resident/Nativity Certificate in original from concerned Revenue Officer not below the Tahsildar.
  • Original SC/ST/ Certificate by birth state of Odisha
  • Income Certificate for TFW candidates
  • Green Card issued by Family Welfare Department of Govt. Of Odisha
  • Ex-Serviceman candidates to apply at Rajya Sainik Board and verify whether their name is recommended or not.
  • Original Certificate in support of Outlying Odia Speaking Tract category
  • Certificate in support of NRI
  • Medical Certificate from SCB Medical College by PC candidates
  • Certificate of Employment of candidate’s parent. Employer: Govt of Odisha/Govt. Of India/Govt. Of India undertakings/Govt. Of Odisha undertakings located in Odisha at the time of application.
  • Qualifying exam pass certificate from Odisha
