Eligibility Criteria for PM Yashasvi Yojana 2023
Individuals applying for the PM Yasasvi Scholarship must fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria –
- Only Indian students are eligible to apply for the PM Yasasvi Yojana
- Students must be studying in Class 9th (born between 01-04-2007 to 31-03-2011 (both days inclusive)) and 11th (born between 01-04-2005 to 31-03-2009 (both days inclusive)) in any identified top schools across the country.
- Student should have passed Class VIII or Class X during the academic year 2022-23.
- This scheme is for individuals belonging to OBC (Other Backward Class), EBC (Economically Backward Class), DNT/S-NT (De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes) categories.
- The interested family’s annual income from all sources must be less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs.

Selection Process for Prime Minister Yashasvi Scholarship Scheme
Individuals will get selected for the PM Yashasvi Scholarship Exam through YASHASVI Entrance Test conducted by NTA on 29-09-2023 Friday. Also, selection will be based on YET Scholarship eligibility criteria, rank in merit list, verification of original documents. To clear the PM Yashasvi Scholarship Exam, individuals must score minimum of 35% marks in the entrance examination.
