Earlier, RRB ALP Technician Recruitment Notification was released by Railway Recruitment Board to fill up 26502 vacant positions. After few days, the Railway Recruitment Board has increased the vacancies from 26,502 to 64,371.
Then, Stage 1 exam was organized by Railway Recruitment Board and result was declared on 02-11-2018 to shortlisted candidates for stage 2. Now, Board has decided that shortlisted candidates on the basis of Stage 1 results will be eligible to attend on 21-01-2019, 22-01-2019 and 23-01-2019. As per latest update, Board has decided that RRB ASM Admit Card will be available soon.

RRB Recruitment – Second Stage CBT
RRB ALP Exam Pattern:
Part A
- RRB Exam Duration for Part A is 90 minutes and for Part B is 60 minutes.
- RRB ALP Exam language is English or Hindi or regional language.
- The total number of questions in Part A is 100 and in Part B it is 75.
- 1/3rd of the total marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

- Negative Marks: There will be negative marking for wrong answers. For every wrong answer, 1/3rd mark will be deducted.
- The exam Duration of RRB Paper is 60 Minutes. (80 minutes for eligible PWD candidates accompanied with scribe)

- PART ‘B’ is qualifying in nature thus; one shall have to qualify it.
- Trade syllabus prescribed by DGET for all the ITI/NAC trades. For Maths and Physics exam trade, the syllabus will be as per the CBSE syllabus of 10+2.

Second Stage CBT (Part B)
- Second Stage of Computer Based Test (Part B) will be of duration 60 minutes or 1 hour.
- 75 questions have to solve by the contenders within given time period.
- Computer Based Aptitude Test (Only for candidates who have opted for ALP)
- Computer Based Aptitude Test is conducted for those candidates who have opted for Assistant Loco Pilot Post.
- Aspirants have to score at least 42 marks in the examination to qualify CBT.
- Questions in Computer Based Aptitude Test will be bilingual in nature i.e. in English and Hindi and it does not follow negative marking scheme.
RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2019
- Group D includes Trackman, Helper, Assistant Points Man, Safaiwala, Gunman, Peon etc. positions.
- Appearing contenders in RRB Group D Exam are informed that there will be 100 questions asked in the exam.
- 90 minutes will be provided to the contenders to solve RRB Group D Non-Technical Exam.
