Essential Eligibility Condition Common for All Railway Exams:
Before filling RRB Online Application Form, the foremost eligibility condition is that every candidate must possess the Nationality / Citizenship. The candidate who aspires to apply for various posts of Indian Railways must fulfill the following conditions:
- Must be the citizen of India.
- Must be Subject to Nepal.
- Must be Subject to Bhutan.
- Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 to be settled permanently in India.
- A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Indian Railways Recruitment:
Railway is one of the essential part of India and main means of transport. In large numbers, candidates work under this department in all over the India. Candidates are employed on basis of their qualification, experience, physical fitness and skills etc. Any candidates can apply for above stated notifications, if he/ she is eligible only. Indian Railways will do recruitment in two phases –
- Indian Railways will start recruitment on first phase in February, March.
- There will be recruitment of 1, 31,428 posts under the first phase.
- The recruitments of the first phase will be finalized by April, 2020.
- Vacancy of second phase will start from May 2020 in the month of June.
- Under the second phase 99,000 posts will be filled.
- On behalf of Indian Railways, SC, ST and OBC candidates will also be given the benefit of reservation in these jobs.
- 10 percent reservation will also be given to the upper castes.
- Under the SC quota, under the quota of 34000, 17000 under ST quota and 62,000 posts under OBC quota will be filled.

भारतीय रेलवे रिक्रूटमेंट दो फेज में करेगा-
- भारतीय रेलवे पहले चरण तरफ से भर्तियां फरवरी, मार्च महीने में स्टार्ट होंगी.
- पहले चरण के तहत 1,31,428 पदों पर भर्तियां होंगी.
- पहले चरण की भर्तियां अप्रैल, मई 2020 तक फाइनल कर दी जाएंगी.
- दूसरे चरण की वैकेंसी 2020 के मई, जून महीने से शुरू होगी.
- दूसरे चरण के तहत 99,000 पदों को भरा जाएगा.
- भारतीय रेलवे की तरफ से इन जॉब में एससी,एसटी और ओबीसी अभ्यर्थियों को आरक्षण का भी लाभ दिया जाएगा.
- सवर्णों को भी 10 प्रतिशत आरक्षण दिया जाएगा.
- एससी कोटे के तहत 34000, एसटी कोटे के तहत 17000 और ओबीसी कोटे के तहत 62,000 पद भरें जाएंगें.
