TANCET Counselling Dates for MBA/MCA/ME:
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test Counselling will commence from 13-06-2019 to 12-07-2019. There are two available modes to apply for counselling i.e. Online & Offline. By following below provided procedure, you may enroll for same.

TANCET Eligibility Criteria:
The eligibility criteria to appear for TANCET 2019 is listed here

| MBA | Pass Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years). Secured at least 50% (45% marks in case of reserved category). |

Eligibility as per Category Wise:
For General category:
Applicant must pass all the subjects of the qualifying degree with at least of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
For Reserved categories:
BC / BCM / MBC&DNC / SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu must pass the qualifying examination with 45% marks

TANCET Application Fee:
Candidates who are going to attend counseling are informed that they have to submit an amount while submitting registration form. SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 250 and 500 for general category candidates. Fee will be submitted through online mode
How to apply for TANCET Counselling 2019?
There are two available modes to apply for Counselling:
WAY 1: OFFLINE FORM PROCEDURE:
- To apply for TANCET MBA Counselling or others, you may obtain Application Form from various Centres
- Now, fill form with required details as Name, Registration number etc.
- Thereafter, enclose the relevant documents and send it to “The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai”
WAY 2: ONLINE FORM PROCEDURE
- Applicants must visit official portal of organization i.e. www.annauniv.edu
- Go under ‘Events’ section form mid of page.
- Here, various links are there, select suitable link for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test Counselling from there.
- Now, download MBA Counselling form, fetch all details in from as need arises as Name, Registration Number and Counselling Centre.
- Make payment of fee & submit your form.

Counselling Charges and Fees:
Contenders have to pay an amount of Rs 5300 for open candidates and for SC/ST/SCA candidates of Tamil Nadu is Rs. 1150 which includes non-refundable amount of Rs. 300(Rs. 150 for SC/ST/SCA) towards counselling fee.
- After allotment of seat, candidates will be given a provisional allotment slip and receipt Rs.5000/- (Rs.1000/- in case of Tamil Nadu SC/SCA/ST).
- Aspirants have to pay remaining fee of allotted institute at the time of admission on the date specified in the provisional allotment order.
- When allotment of seat will be done the amount of 5,000/- for general or ` 1,000/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates already paid at the time of counselling will be adjusted towards the tuition fee to be paid to the respective allotted college.
- If candidates will not join allotted seat then only 80% amount will be refund to contender.
- Requisition letter addressed to the Secretary that is The Secretary, Tamil Nadu MBA/MCA Admissions 2018,College of Technology, Coimbatore.

TANCET 2019 Merit List:
For admissions into courses viz. M.Tech/M.E/M.Arch/M.Plan, TANCET Rank List will be prepared.
List 1: GATE Category:
- GATE 2019 qualified Candidate: For Engineering/Technology Candidates
- GATE 2019 qualified aspirants with valid TANCET 2019 scores: For Engineering Science XS/Life Sciences XL candidates
List 2: TANCET Category:
Merit List is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by applicants in TANCET 2019 Exam.
List 3: Sponsored Category:
Here, some seats are made available to candidates employed and sponsored by Governmental organization.
TANCET 2019 Call Letter:
- After successful receiving of MBA/MCA Counselling application form along all the corresponding documents by Anna University, you may apply for counselling.
- Counselling call letter authorizes the candidates’ candidature during the counselling session.

TANCET Seat Allotment 2019:
- During Counselling, aspirants will be asked to choose colleges along with their appropriate branches from list of all the colleges.
- Allotted seats to the contenders are subject to vacant seats in the college and common merit list prepared
- Those with better rank in common merit list will be given preference over other aspirants during allotment of seats.
- Further, you may attend the second and even third counselling, if you are not satisfied with the allotted college.

Documents Required for TANCET Counselling 2019
At time of appearing for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test Counselling, you must carry listed documents.
- TANCET 2019 Hall Ticket
- Class X, XII Mark Sheet
- Mark Sheets of all semesters/ yearly.
- Community Certificate for BC / BCM / MBC / SC / SCA / ST contenders
- Domicile certificate (If applicable).
- Copy of Degree Certificate (or) Provisional Degree Certificate. Candidates appeared for the final semester / year exam of the qualifying degree have to enclose a course completion certificate from the Head of the institution where the candidate has studied.
- Certificate from District Medical Board for Differently Able candidates (if Applicable).
- Self-addressed stamped envelope for counseling call letter.
- Self-addressed stamped acknowledgement card.
