Latest Update NTA UGC NET June 2019 Notification and exam dates have been released now. National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2019) will be managed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). UGC NET is conducted for the Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship for Indian national citizens.
The National Testing Agency will conduct UGC NET in June 2019. The National Eligibility Test (NET) will be organized by NTA for the second time on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). NTA UGC NET JUNE Notification:
As per official notification, NTA will conducts next UGC-NET for ‘Assistant Professor’ and for ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor both’ in June 2019. The test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will be conducted in single three hour duration.
All those candidates who wish to apply may do so at the official website that is www.nta.ac.in or ntanet.nic.in by the help of below provided simple steps. The registration will begin from 01-03-2019 and will close on 30-03-2019.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Criteria:
- For Junior Research Fellowship, the upper age limit is 30 years as on 1st January 2019.
- No age limit for the Assistant Professor.
- The relaxation in the upper age limit for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD and women category will be 5 years.
- Relaxation will also be provided to the research experience and LL.M Degree (3 years) holders.
Qualification Requirement:
- Candidates who possess Master’s degree or equivalent from a university recognized by UGC can apply.
- D candidates can also apply.
- It is necessary to have at least 55% marks in aggregate in the master’s degree. 50% marks for reserved categories.
- Appearing in the final semester of the master’s degree can also apply.
- There is a 5% of relaxation for Ph.D degree holders in aggregate marks. Such candidates should have the Master’s degree examination which should be completed by 19th September 1991.

Exemption (Eligibility for Assistant professor):
- The minimum eligibility criteria for the Assistant Professors are NET/SET/SLET.
- Candidates those passed the UGC/CSIR JRF examination prior to 1989 are exempted to appear in the exam.
- For SET Candidates: Those qualified the SET (held prior to 1st June 2002) are exempted from appearing in NET. Such candidates can apply for the post of Assistant Professor anywhere in India.
- Those cleared the SET (1st June 2002 onwards) are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor only in the Universities/colleges situated in the state from where they have cleared their SET.

NTA UGC NET 2019 Application Fee:
Candidates need to pay following UGC NET Exam fee either by credit/ debit card or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the application form. Please note that Fee submitted through any other mode like Money Order, Demand Draft, IPO etc. will be summarily rejected.

Pre-requisite should be Ready To Fill UGC NET Online Form:
- Passport size photograph in JPG format of minimum 4kb to 40 kb.
- The dimension of the photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
- Signature in JPG format of minimum 4kb to 30 kb.
- The dimension of the signature should be 3.5 cm (width) x 1.5 cm (height).

How to Apply For UGC NET 2019?
Those candidates, who want to fill the NTA National Eligibility Test Application Form, need to follow the given steps, please have a look..!!
- Log on to the official website of NTA that is www.nta.ac.in to apply for National Eligibility Test as per NTA UGC NET JUNE 2019.
- Hit on NTA Exams Tab.
- After that you are required to choose “UGC NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST” link given under the head “COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY TEACHING & FELLOWSHIP”.
- Then, a new page will be opened which contains details about UGC NET Exam.
- Now you need to go through the details and if you found yourself eligible press on “Registration” button.
- After that, enter all essential details which are asking in the NTA UGC NET Online Form 2019 in proper manner.
- Then hit on “submit” button and your UGC NET Application Form has been submitted successfully.
- In the last step, you can take print out of system generated UGC NET Online Form and keep it on safe place for future use.

UGC NET Admit Card 2019
- National Testing Agency (NTA) will released the UGC NET Admit Card 2019 one month prior to the examination on 15-05-2019. Appearing candidates have to bring a photo identity card along with the printout of online Admission Card on the day of examination.
- Without valid UGC NET Call Letter, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
- No admit card will be sent to the candidates individually by post.
UGC NET 2019 Answer Key
After the successful completion of NET examination, the exam conducting authority will release the UGC NET Answer Key for all papers separately. Candidates can challenge the OMR Sheet/answer key. You can also challenge the questions by paying Rs. 1000/- for each question. After revaluation of the objection from the candidates, the final answer key will be released.
UGC NET Result 2019
The UGC NET result 2019 will be declared after one month of the completion of examination by 09-07-2019. The candidates can get their UGC NET Results by entering the application number, roll number and date of birth.
