UGC NET Expected Cut Off 2018 – How It Is Calculated
A merit list is prepared by CBSE to calculate CBSE UGC NET Cut Off 2018 for UGC-NET Assistant Professor post. Only those Candidates who have secured the required minimum 40 per cent marks (for general category) and 35 per cent for reserved category will be included in CBSE UGC NET Merit List.
Top 6 per cent of the candidates would be announced as NET qualified as per the UGC norms and will be declared NET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only. Instead of earlier pattern of 3 papers, the examination was conducted for Paper I and II. While UGC NET Paper I had 50 questions of 2 marks each, UGC NET Paper II had 100 questions of 2 marks each. All the questions were compulsory and were multiple choice questions.
Experts calculate the CBSE NET expected cut off by using statistical models of past results.
