Candidates who wish to apply for the UP Scholarship 2022-23 must fill out and submit their Online Application Form before the last date which is mentioned below. Any student who is a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh and studying in the Academic Session 2022-23 in any course is eligible to take the benefits of UP Scholarships.

UP Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Pre-matric Scholarship For ST/SC/General Category, Uttar Pradesh	The scheme is meant for students of classes 9th and 10th belonging to the SC/ST/General category. The annual income of the family must be equal to or below Rs.1 Lakh from all sources.
Post matric Intermediate Scholarship For ST/SC/General Category, Uttar Pradesh	Students of SC/ST/General category studying in Class 11th or 12th. The family’s annual income should not exceed Rs.2 Lakh (for General) and Rs.2.5 Lakh (for SC/ST).
Post matric (Other than Intermediate) Scholarship for ST, SC, General Category, Uttar Pradesh	This scheme is for students of the SC/ST/General category who are pursuing graduation, post-graduation, Ph.D., or higher-level degree course. The annual income of the family should not be above Rs.2 Lakh (for General) and Rs.2.5 Lakh (for SC/ST).

How to fill UP Scholarship Application Form?

For the convenience of students, the Uttar Pradesh govt. has launched its official online system for scholarships and fee reimbursement. Here is the simplified step-by-step procedure to apply for any of the scholarships offered by the UP government.

Step 1: New User Registration

• Visit the official website for UP Government’s Scholarships and Fee Reimbursement Online System – www.scholarship.up.gov.in.
• Go to the “Student” section and press the “New Registration” link.
• Choose the scholarship scheme for which you wish to apply.
• Fill in all details in the correct manner.
• Press the “Submit” tab to register yourself successfully.
• Take a printout of the registration slip for future references.

Step 2: Student Login

• After successful registration, go to the “Student” section and choose the “Fresh Login” option for fresh applications and the “Renewal Login” option for renewal applications.
• Log in to the portal using the registration no., DOB and password.
• A new page displaying important instructions regarding application form filling will be opened.
• Read all instructions carefully and tick the box placed at the end of the page and hit the “Proceed” tab.

Step 3: Filling the Application Form

• By pressing the “Proceed” tab, you will be directed to the user dashboard.
• Select the “Fill in the application form” link.
• Fill in all the details correctly as asked in the application form.
• Hit the submit tab.

Step 4: Uploading of Documents

• After submitting the application form, upload your photograph and other requisite documents.

Step 5: Final Submission

• Before making the final submission of your application form, go through all the information you have saved in your application. Make sure all details entered are correct to avoid any sort of discrepancy afterward.
• Students must note that there is no provision for making changes to the information finally submitted by the applicant.

Step 6: Submission of Form at the respective educational institution

• After the final online submission of the application form at the official portal, take a printout of the form and submit it along with other supporting documents to the respective educational institutions.
