UPSEE Counselling 2019 will be started after a few days of the announcement of UPSEE Result through online mode. Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow will conduct the AKTU UPSEE Counselling.

UPSEE Counselling Procedure 2019:

UPSEE Online Counseling Process comprise of listed ways.

• Registration and Payment of Counselling Fee
• Verification Of Documents
• Choice Filling
• UPSEE Counselling Seat Allotment
• Confirmation of Seat

Step 1: Registration and Payment of Counselling Fee:

• At first & foremost step, you need to register for the UPSEE Counselling through online mode. Students may register for UPSEE Counselling by entering their application number & password.
• You will get PIN / OTP (One Time Password) for filling choices via SMS on registered Mobile Number.
• The OTP numbers is essential for next step of counseling.
• During registration, you are required to pay counselling fee of Rs. 20000 (Rs. 12000 for SC/ST category).
• Make payment of fee via online mode (credit card/debit card/internet banking).
• Demand Draft of fee should be drawn in favour of “Finance Officer, Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow”.

Step 2: Verification Of Documents:

• Students may carry all the original documents along with two photocopies of each at the designated verification centers.
• During Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination Counselling, all vital documents will be verified.

Step 3: UPSEE Counselling Choice Filling:

• At this step, students have to fill in their choice of colleges and courses based on preference.
• You can fill as many choices as you want during this phase of UPSEE Counselling.

Step 4: UPSEE Counselling Seat Allotment:

• UPSEE Seat Allotment process is carried out this stage.
• On the basis of choice filling, merit list and availability of seats, students will be awarded seat in the B.Tech programme.
• UPSEE Counselling Allotment Letter will be issued.

Step 5: Confirmation of Seat:

• After completion of Choice filling & locking based on preference, seats are allotted based on merit position/ rank of students.
• After receiving a seat, you need to confirm allotted seat by depositing required confirmation fee.

UPSEE Counselling Fees:

Those selected for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination Counselling are required to pay counselling fee through online mode via Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking.

UPSEE Counselling Fee Refund Rule:

• The refund usually takes place after the admission process is over.
• You will get your money refunded if any seat is not allotted to you. In this case, some amount will be deducted.
• Students will get money back via online mode.

When select no option:

• Those who are allotted seat must exercise “FREEZE” or “FLOAT” or “FREEZE with UPGRADE” or “FREEZE without UPGRADE” options.
• If no option is exercised by such candidate, then it will automatically be treated as “WITHDRAWN”.
• In such case, seat allotted shall be automatically cancelled and treated as vacant.
• In such situation, amount will be refunded in account.

When select withdraw option: 

• In case, you opted for withdraw option, then aspirants who were allotted a seat but have exercised “Withdraw” Option after allotment, then it is automatically treated as WITHDRAWN from the Counseling.
• Seat allotted during Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination Counselling will be cancelled and shall be treated vacant.
• In such circumstance, amount of fee shall be refunded online.

When seat is not allotted: 

• In this situation, those who could not be allotted any seat, the entire fee submitted will be refunded online by the University.
• No deductions are made from amount of fee.

List of credentials for UPSEE 2019 Counselling Verification:

• Admit Card of UPSEE 2019/ JEE Main 2019 (whichever is applicable)
• Mark sheet of class X and XII
• Character certificate, as issued by the institute last attended
• Certificate of Medical Fitness issued by a competent authority
• Domicile certificate (if applicable)
• Category certificate for candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST category
• Subcategory certificate (for candidates belonging to Freedom fighters/Armed forces/Physically handicapped category)
• Income certificate (applicable only for economically weaker only)
• GDDA category certificate
• Rural Weightage certificate
